Samskip adds Halmstad to Europe–Iceland Blue service

The service, operated with two 900 TEU vessels, will expand its network coverage in Scandinavia through the addition of the new port call. Following the adjustment, the service rotation will include Rotterdam, Cuxhaven, Gothenburg, Halmstad, Aarhus, Runavik, Reykjavik, Grundartangi, Vestmannaeyjar, Runavik and return to Rotterdam. According to current schedules, the rotation may vary slightly depending on operational requirements. The addition of Halmstad is expected to strengthen Samskip’s regional connectivity across Northern Europe and Iceland while expanding cargo options for customers in the Scandinavian market.
