MTT Shipping makes its Bursa Malaysia debut

The listing values the Malaysian domestic carrier at around MYR 2.6 billion (USD 658 million), accoring to DynaLiners. The company made its market debut in late April 2026, marking a significant milestone for one of Malaysia’s domestic shipping operators. At the time of listing, MTT Shipping operated a fleet of seventeen vessels serving the country’s coastal and domestic trades. The carrier intends to deploy the majority of the IPO proceeds toward fleet expansion, with plans to acquire at least twelve new vessels. Additional funds are earmarked for the expansion of container depot capacity at three key Malaysian ports — Port Klang, Kuching and Bintulu — underlining the company’s ambitions to grow its logistics footprint alongside its maritime operations.
